Jejuri (Khandoba temple)

Jejuri is a city and a municipal council in the Pune district of Maharashtra, India. Khandoba Mandir is an important Hindu temple to the Hindu Lord Khandoba, one of the most visited tirtha in Maharashtra. Khandoba is a clan god for many Maharashtrian castes and communities, beloved as a god who grants wishes. 

पुणे जिल्ह्यातील पुण्याजवळच्या जेजुरी ह्या सुमारे तीस मैलावरील गावी खंडोबाचे देवस्थान आहे. खंडोबा हे महाराष्ट्राचे कुलदैवत असून तो जेजुरीचा खंडोबा या नावाने सर्वपरिचित आहे. उंच डोंगरावर असलेल्या कडेपठार या ठिकाणी जुने खंडोबाचे स्थान होते. परंतु जेजुरीला नव्याने देऊळ बांधले. तरी तेही आता तीन शतकांपूर्वीचे देऊळ आहे.
